Nut Free & Scent Aware School

Aberdeen is a Nut Free and Scent Free School. These are precautionary measures that are taken to keep all of our students and staff at Aberdeen Elementary safe while at school.

Nut-Free School

• Aberdeen Elementary is a nut-free environment. 
• This includes all types of Nuts (including peanuts, and tree nuts).
• This precautionary measure is being taken to ensure that all students are safe at Aberdeen Elementary School. 
• There are many healthy alternatives to peanut butter including but not limited to Wow Butter and PeaButter. 

Scent-Aware School

• We have many students and staff that are sensitive to scent. 

• Please refrain from wearing scents to school that are overpowering that may affect the well being and learning of others.
