Athletics

We have daily physical activity, as well as a basketball court, two soccer fields and a playground. We provide grade 4/5 students with the opportunity to join one or all of our many teams which include, floor hockey, handball, cross country, soccer and basketball. Students represent Aberdeen Elementary in tournaments and athletic events at other school in the district. All of our Grade 4 and 5 students represent Aberdeen at our Zone Track and Field meet.

In an attempt to create more opportunities for our students, the PE teachers within the West Zone of Abbotsford have volunteered more of their time to promote sport within our schools through extra-curriculars. The general themes for our extra curricular sports are as follows:
