Lunar New Year

February 6, 2022

In many classes around the school, the students learned more about Lunar New Year to recognize the start of the new year on February 1st.

In Mrs. Teeft's class, the students used paint to write traditional words and used chalk pastels to draw fireworks.

In Mrs. VonDoehren's class, the students coloured dragon masks to symbolize the year that the students were born (the year of the dragon) and learned about all the different animals and some of the strengths of the people born in each year.
